About

Amanda De Santiago, MS, LMFT-Associate

Hi, I’m Amanda, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a Masters in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University. Before starting in the therapy field, I graduated from UTSA with a degree in Exercise Science and worked in corporate health and wellness.

In my time as a therapist, I have been privileged to work with families, couples, and individuals (14+) of all different backgrounds and identities who have been experiencing anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties and other life stressors. My passion is working with couples, relationships, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Therapy can feel intimidating at first, but I believe that each person comes in with their own strengths, resources and wisdom. As a strengths-based therapist, my approach is centered on exploring those unique resources and tools. Using these tools, we will work together to build solutions to overcome the obstacles that you are currently facing.

I utilize Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Collaborative therapy to tailor my approach with each client and value feedback and collaboration as we walk through this time together.

My Specialties

Couples, ethical non-monogamy, infidelity, relationships, members of the LGBTQ+ community, grief, and anxiety.
